PV8 GUIDES

How can we help?

Find the workflow, evidence and engineering guidance for turning an existing PV site into a better decision.

/

Continue in AutoCAD, PVcase and GIS tools

Move PV8 outputs into established engineering software while preserving normal customer processes.

Use PV8 as the decision layer

  1. Export the handoff package from the saved result.
  2. Open DXF geometry in AutoCAD or PVcase and verify units and CRS.
  3. Use layer names to separate parcel, existing PV, proposed equipment, exclusions and routes.
  4. Complete detailed design in the customer's normal engineering tool.
  5. Return the revised layout, equipment schedule and decisions to the Asset Profile as evidence.

Avoid duplicate data entry

Machine-readable schedules and stable object identifiers let later integrations match equipment and geometry revisions rather than recreating the project from screenshots.
