EV Charging Hub
Methods v1.0 · updated 2026-08-28
Charging demand the location can capture, priced against the PV supply and grid import mix.
Method
- Corridor and local demand screened from road network position, traffic class and nearby anchors.
- Charger mix and utilisation ramp over labelled years; energy mix from hourly PV overlap with charging windows plus grid top-up.
- Economics as NPV of charging margin over the horizon with one visible input table (all assumptions on one layer).
Data sources
- Open road-network and POI data around the site
- Country EV-adoption and utilisation curves (labelled)
Limitations
- Utilisation is the dominant uncertainty — treat year-one figures as scenario, not forecast.
- Grid-import capacity for peak charging needs the operator check where headroom is thin.
- Screening result with labelled assumptions — not a bankable study, an engineering design, or investment advice.
- Site-specific facts the owner has not provided are filled with labelled, era- or country-typical defaults.
